- BS degree in Electrical, Software, or Systems Engineering; Computer Science; Information Systems, or Information Technology.
- Eight (8) years of direct work experience with analyzing and solving computer problems, and implementation of system studies to realize maximum benefit from investments in equipment, personnel, and business processes.
- Experience planning and designing new computer systems and devising processes to apply existing systems resources to new operations.
- Six (6) years of direct work experience analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer systems.
- Reviewing computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- Studying existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and developing new systems to improve production or workflow as required.
- The successful candidate will use his or her experience to support the following activities.
- Campaign Experimentation Assessment: Demonstrated experience in planning and conducting exercises, wargames, and experimentation, to include the development of analytics and metrics, data collection and analysis, and post exercise/ experiment data analysis.
- Joint Experimentation Network Management: Demonstrated experience in developing a federated architecture of existing experimentation data repositories. This entails defining data pipelines, normalizing data from a variety of experimentation sources, and implementing application programming interfaces (APIs) for data sharing with other experimentation databases.
- Meta-Analysis Experimentation Assessment: Demonstrated experience in conducting the analysis of experimentation events by employing statistical approaches for synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to develop conclusions and interpret results.
- Modeling and Simulation Tools for Experimentation: Demonstrated experience in the integration of federated experimentation datasets into a modeling and simulation framework. Experience in conducting simulation-based exercises and experiments, observing systems or activity, and collecting platform/capability data. This includes identifying the simulation environment along with the design and implementation of the models to enable appropriate metric generation.
