Role - IT Trainer

Location: 900 E Broad St - G2, Richmond, VA

Duration: 6+ Months Financial Systems Trainer is responsible for providing training and support for the RVAPAY financial system during the rollout of the system and post production support. This position will work closely with staff, management and developers to identify training needs, develop and deliver training content, and ensure the successful adoption of financial systems across the organization.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems training and support.
  • Proficiency in Oracle financial systems and software desired
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Required / Desired/ Amount of Experience
  • Experience developing and delivering training materials and instruction for financial systems and software.
  • Experience creating and delivering trainers materials to users of Oracle ERP financial systems.
  • Experience ensuring staff and management understand the usage and capabilities of financial systems and software.
  • Experience monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of user training.
  • Experience working with users to troubleshoot system issues and provide feedback to developers for improvements.
  • Experience leading multiple modes of training delivery such as classroom, video and one on one training.
  • Experience in financial systems training and support.
