Our work depends on an IT Service Management (ITSM) tester/trainer who will provide testing, training, documentation, and process support for a recent customer migration from ServiceNow to BMC Helix. Our team is implementing an enterprise-wide IT Service Management (ITSM) solution and facilitating collaboration within and across bureaus and the departmental SMEs.How You Will Make an Impact

Document customer business needs and refine user acceptance tests with BMC Helix developers to ensure the ITSM solution meets the end-user requirements.

Carry out procedures to ensure that the ITSM solution meets end-user requirements through requirements traceability activities per the UAT plan.

Create training plans, training materials and conduct end-user training for new ITSM capabilities being rolled out.

Define testing and training procedures in conjunction with customer and end-user requirements.

Provide quality management for information systems using the standard methodologies, techniques, and metrics for assuring product quality.

Perform root cause analysis and identifies corrective actions and continuous process improvement activities.

Coordinate with business and technology teams ascertaining system requirements such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls required for the ITSM solution.

Responsible for defining and developing ITSM processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Required Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance testing and/or training for ITSM solutions.

Required Education or Certifications: None.

Preferred Certification: ITILv4 Foundations.

Required Skills: Creating and executing test scripts and test plans with end users, BMC Helix and/or ServiceNow experience, effective verbal and written communications skills, and ability to work independently under minimal oversight to complete tasks on schedule.

Preferred Technical Skills: Asset Management, CMDB

US Citizenship Required for Public Trust.

Location: 100% remote.
