Java Developer

Java DeveloperMSI is seeking a Java Developer to support our client in Ashburn, VA.Overview:• The Java Developer will help the customer accomplish the vision of a streamlined, paperless, single window electronic filing using Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) systems.Qualifications:• U.S. Citizenship required.• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field and 5+ years of experience.• 5+ years of Java development experience, Java 8 and higher.• Experience using Angular 2.X.• Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills.• 3+ years’ experience with web services development – SOAP/REST.• 3+ years’ experience of UI development.• Experience writing automated unit tests.• Knowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS.• Experience working on an Agile Team.• Willingness and ability to support and mentor other team members.MSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
