Currently remote - and w visit to the office once every 2 to 3 weeks after remote period. We are an established team who support Custom Border Protection (CBP) at Cargo Systems Program Directorate (CSPD) to help them accomplish the vision of a streamlined, paperless, single window electronic filing using Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) systems.We would like to add a Java developer (5+ years’ experience) to our team- 5+ years of Java development experience, Java 8 and higher
- Experience using Angular 2.X
- Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills
- 3+ years’ experience with web services development – SOAP/REST
- 3+ years’ experience of UI development
- Experience writing automated unit tests
- Knowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS
- Experience working on an Agile Team
- Willingness and ability to support and mentor other team members
Candidates must be local to the Asburn, VA. Our team works 100% remote at present. Later in 2022 we expect to transition to work onsite occasionally - in Ashburn, VA. Qualifications:- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience
- Minimum Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field.
