Hazelwood Electric LLC is looking for a full-time Journeyman/Master Electrician to join our outstanding team of professionals. Hazelwood Electric LLC provides commercial, residential, and industrial electrical solutions and is a growing company with a solid reputation for quality of work, safety, and teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

Licensed Journeyman/Master Electrician in the state of Virginia or West VA

Knowledge of commercial, industrial and residential electrical systems, NEC, and local codes

Ability to solve problems independently and willing to put in a hard day's work

Hand and power tools at the journeyman/master level

Composite safety toe boots

Reliable transportation

Reside in our service area

Valid VA driver's license and a clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check

Ability to pass a drug test

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

RESPONSIBILITES (REQUIRED BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

Running Conduit, MC & Romex, Pulling Wire, Setting Panels, Terminations, Switches, Lighting Fixtures, Cable Trays, Bending Pipe, Underground, Troubleshooting, etc.

Read blueprints and wiring schematics

Verify compliance and functionality of installations

Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity objectives are met

Coordinate with other trades on site

Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace

Ensure that safety is paramount on all job sites

Work in all weather conditions

Work in restricted or confines areas such as switchgear rooms, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics

Kneeling, crawling, and crouching for extended periods
