Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a

Junior-Mid .NET Developer to join their software development team in support of a government agency. This is a direct hire role with a hybrid work schedule. The Developer will provide technical development, maintenance, and support to a suite of web-based financial applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze/implement software requirements with web technologies (ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, HTML, JavaScript) within an MS Windows 2016 environment
  • Debug application and recommend feasible solutions in a timely manner
  • Provide technical solutions that are FISCAM and NIST 800-53 compliant
  • Write queries, stored procedures, and administer SQL Server (2016) database
  • Write technical documentation and SOPs that support the software development lifecycle

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 3 years of technical experience with a BS degree, 1-2 years of experience with a MA degree, or 5 years of experience with a High School diploma
  • 3+ years of hands-on programming experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, and ADO.NET in developing dynamic web applications
  • Certifications: 8570 IAT Level II Compliance (Security+) - if candidate does not have this certification, must be able to get within 3 months of start date
  • Work Status: due to government requirements, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
  • Clearance Type: Active TS/SCI
