We are in need of a motivated Database Administrator to support our Mission Technologies Division, which has over 100 facilities worldwide and provides capabilities to support an all-domain force that includes artificial intelligence and machine learning, autonomous systems, critical nuclear operations, LVC systems, cyberspace strategies, and platform modernization.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring, analyzing and developing intelligence processes within the JIOC Korea
  • Update and maintain intelligence dissemination SharePoint sites on various networks
  • Assist in monitoring Requests for Information (RFI) during exercises and perform duties as the Theater Manager
  • Assist in the monitoring and analysis of data flows between ROK and US information systems and networks; recommend improvements and solutions and correct errors that impede such flows
  • Coordinate with USFK, Service Component, MACOM and Government Agency Knowledge Managers to improve intelligence processes and sharing across the Intelligence Community
  • Gather requirements for information technology tools to support specific organizational requirements and tasks, such as MM&P database
  • Support the dissemination and communication of information and ideas appropriately using verbal, visual, and/or written media as applicable
  • Directs and/or works within a set of interdependent tasks to meet defined government information service objectives that further the agency's mission
  • Prepares recommendations for information management by obtaining information, defining problems, identifying relationships, developing networks and coalitions to accomplish goals
  • Monitors the effectiveness of information projects by compiling resource usage statistics and identifying and analyzing trends

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field OR
  • 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
  • Experience with sharepoint administration

Preferred Requirements

  • BS: Information Science.
  • Highly proficient in implementation and administration of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases and Linux operating systems, accommodating demanding user requirements in DoD, Biotech, and Manufacturing environments.
  • Excels at effectively adapting leading-edge technologies to suit business needs and solving challenging IT issues.
  • Experience developing and implementing Smartsheets for project use

Physical Requirements

Job Performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
