January 4, 2023 Lead Data Analyst
Per Executive Order 14042, new or prospective Comscore, Inc. employees in the United States, must provide proof of complete vaccination, or approved exemption on the first day of their employment. Extracts, transforms, and analyzes data, finding insights and answering questions about the content of the data. Performs analytical hypothesis testing and modeling to provide key insight to internal and external clients. Supports sales function by providing data expertise, feasibility reviews, and detailed analysis of questions raised by internal and external stakeholders. More senior roles are involved in the creation and innovation of Comscore's offerings to the marketplace and are responsible for managing and leading cross-functional teams of analysts. Some roles create and maintain internal and external user interface and reporting tools. These roles cross all Comscore product areas, including digital, mobile, OTT, and TV.Key Activities:- Provides analytical leadership and direction within core vertical
- May be responsible for resources and budgets
- Plays a key role in innovating, overcoming roadblocks, breaking new ground, and developing and modifying solution offerings
- May oversee other analysts
- Acts as a SME with client-facing teams
- Leads sales calls with clients and Sales team to discuss custom research solutions
- Identifies new analytical methods & techniques to answer clients need for custom solutions
- Advanced use of database query tools to extract, manipulate, and automate custom deliverables
- Responsible for documenting the detailed software, reporting, and calculation requirements during the analysis and design phases of new custom product development
- 6+ years of related experience
- Graduate degree (or equivalent work experience in Internet market research)
- SME in leading market research
- Expert level of proficiency database query tools (with SQL, JSON, Python etc.)
- Expert level of proficiency with ETL software (Alteryx, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
- Able to implement statistical modeling techniques in custom solutions
- Experience in the sales process of market research products; able to establish new partnerships
- Business acumen and strategic thinking
- Strong ability to innovate and anticipate market needs
