About the Role:

  • This lead role requires the person to be fully hands-on.
  • The person has to be really strong in AWS more on the infrastructure side.Must have worked with S3, ECS, EC2, dockers, containers, etc.
  • Must have DevOps skills as the person will be managing and troubleshooting pipeline failures. Has to work on stack creation repos, config repos, service repos, traffic routing, regression testing, pull requests, code merges and releases.
  • Coding in Java is not required but should be able to understand and navigate code for troubleshooting.
  • Has to be primary and secondary on rotation basis for production support for at least once a month. It can be more or less based on the rotation schedule.
  • Apart from these technical skills, the person should be able to communicate well, talk to the other teams, users and business and lead the team. The Client is very demanding, so the person has to be proactive and responsive.

Job Title: Lead DevOPS API Engineer / Tech Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee monthly onboarding of APIs. This includes but not limited to the following:

  • Work with Product/ Program team and clients to understand the Intent requirements and plan the activities for onboardin
  • Act as a Scrum master in planning and estimation (This is applicable for the

    Tech Lead)
  • Review the Intents in Jira and manage the life cycle of onboarding the APIs by properly updating the Jira work items to completion
  • Create Git Pull Requests, merge requests, resolve conflicts and execute Pipelines to deploy the changes in different Environments (Dev, QA and Prod).
  • Should be able to create new APIs or modify existing APIs using Java and Spring.
  • Should be able to modify existing or create new Rules using SPEL (Spring Expression Language)
  • Troubleshooting the Application Runtime exceptions, Pipeline deployment issues, Testing issues etc
  • Validate the application status in Splunk
  • Document existing processes and work with the design team for improvements and automation opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong in

    AWS more on the infrastructure side. Must have worked with

    S3,

    ECS,

    EC2, dockers, containers, etc.
  • Must have DevOps skills as the person will be managing and troubleshooting pipeline failures. Has to work on stack creation repos, config repos, service repos, traffic routing, regression testing, pull requests, code merges and releases.
  • Must have API experience along with either Java or Python background
  • Should have lead a team in recent project

Location: Remote (EST or CST states only - Anywhere in USA)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $125,000 – $140,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
