Click >Here< to learn more about RMS.To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin fosters an inclusive work environment that encourages differences and big-picture thinking.An ideal candidate will provide support to the System, Software, and Hardware Engineering teams by maintaining the System Requirements Capabilities Baseline throughout system development:o Manage the Systems Engineering project schedule, budget, and resources in accordance with the program management processeso Provide engineering support to attend, witness, and document the capability tests for the componentso Perform system hardware and software integration activities including checkout, problem analysis and error correction, and maintenanceo Support capability verification during ICE (Independent Capabilities Evaluation) and CONEMP (Concept of Employment)o Develop Test Procedures for Set-to-Work eventso Perform in and out-of-country installs as neededo Support Program Baseline Activitieso Identify program Risks and Opportunitieso Represent the SE&IT organization to the Program and the Customer as a technical adviser.Basic Qualifications:Interim SECRET ClearanceAn understanding of the operation and interrelationships of submarine and acoustic systems and an appreciation for the impact that configuration or requirements changes may have on performance related attributes, cost and schedule.A leader with experience in leading, coaching, and developing young engineers and working with various cross-functional teams.Demonstrated experience to work independently with technical IPTs, lead meetings, and drive tasks to closureUse of Model-Based Systems Engineering approaches using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML)Experience using DOORS to produce specifications, design descriptions, and traceability reportsExperience presenting material to a wide range of audiences including the Navy customer and senior management.The ability to deliver on time, high quality technical products to the Navy customerExperience providing support and documentation (preparing program deliverables)Desired Skills:Experience solving complex technical problems both independently and in a collaborative environmentExperience leading small engineering teamswithin analysis to drive more comprehensive resultsDemonstrated capability to proactively work through difficult technical, project and resource challengesDemonstrated ability to collaborate successfully between multiple engineering disciplinesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
