Responsibilities:

Leasing Manager - The Reserve at Tyson's Corner Luxury Apartment Homes (a premier Class A community) - VIENNA, VA
  • Conducts tours of the community and specific apartments with prospective residents.
  • Administers lease renewal program through timely and accurate notification and maintains creative resident retention program.
  • Coordinates market ready needs to Community Manager. Selects, sets up and maintains models and mini-models.
  • Monitors accurate execution and timely completion of all applications; lease documents, move-in documents and all paperwork.
  • Reviews and approves or disapproves applications for residency in coordination with the Community Manager.
  • Ensures all leasing activity and all traffic is accurately recorded and entered daily into computer system.
  • Accepts service requests and routes to service team; conducts service follow up with renters.
  • Coordinates with Community Manager to develop and maintain marketing, advertising, and collateral materials.
  • Monitors advertising publications and media. Makes ad recommendations to the Community Manager and keeps track of publication deadlines and advertising costs per lease. Monitors effectiveness and makes timely recommendations for changes.
  • Monitors the number of net leases each month by the leasing team to exceed the number of anticipated move-outs.
  • Adheres to all local/state laws and complies with the company's policy and procedures.

  • Assists Community Manager in the development of the advertising and marketing budget. Works within the guidelines of the approved budget, consistently seeking ways to maximize the efficiency of related expenses without compromising the quality or image of the community.
  • Completes monthly market survey and marketing plan for the community and reviews with Community Manager.
  • Participates in the hiring, training, direction and management of new Leasing Consultants.
  • May plan, coordinate and participate in monthly resident activities.
  • Assumes management duties in the absence of or request of the Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager.
  • Dress appropriately in career apparel.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you can get along with co-workers, residents, customers, vendors, and management.

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE: (EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE)

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 3-5 years of leasing experience in the housing industry.

Supervisory Experience: 0-2 years of experience preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Fair housing training is required.

Supervision skills necessary.

Must speak and write English fluently to communicate effectively with on-site staff, residents, customers and vendors.
