Facilitate communications with outside counsel, management.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Triage research requests and monitor pipelines and reports for achievement of quality standards Make appropriate updates to Trust system of record. Facilitation and monitoring of communications with internal and external business partners to ensure internal and external timelines are achieved Perform and validate complex fact investigations and document retrieval. Research pleadings with outside counsel and directly with courts. Stay current on knowledge of relevant state laws and individual judicial requirements. Stay current on knowledge of relevant investor requirements and delegations. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners. All other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelors degree with Five or more years of mortgage default or collections related experience Basic knowledge of collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure and bankruptcy Ability to work with minimal supervision and recognize need to escalate with suggested solutions Ability to read and analyze mortgage and legal documents Microsoft Office suite skills to include Word and Excel Excellent written and oral communication skills Complex research skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications: Knowledgeable about state and federal litigation process and rules of civil procedure Proficiency with banking software, deposit account systems, or mortgage servicing systems to include XNET, PACER, Salesforce, Workfront, Channel Link, Clarifire, SMDU, MSP and like systems.
