Imaging System Administrator We are looking for an experienced RHEL Linux System Administrator to enhance and support operating system activities in support of enterprise imaging applications. The Case Imaging System (CIS), General District Imaging System (GDIS),JDR Imaging System (JDIS) and Records Management Systems (RMS) are existing production applications that require continuing enhancements, modifications and ongoing hardware and operating system support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities -• Install, build, maintain, provision, upgrade, and enhance both RHEL and HP-UX server hardware environments• Configure and maintain RHEL with SELinux and HP-UX performance and security standards• Support/maintenance of existing shell scripting tools necessary. Creation of new scripts as needed.• The ability to work with staff DBA and developers regarding access, capacity, and monitoring procedures for Informix and PostgreSQL systems• Performance tuning of virtual and physical operating systems as needed• Install, upgrade, distribute and manage O/S releases. This will require knowledge of Software Distributor and Satellite.• Some tasks may require weekend work or travel to Courts within the state. Overnight travel may be required.• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision with guidance from the team manager as well as the ability to collaborate with team members is needed.• The ability to troubleshoot and interact with nontechnical court personnel is essential.• The ability to clearly document procedures for O/S and hardware design, build, and install and train coworkers is needed.Minimum Qualifications/Experience -• Hands-on experience with configuration, administration, and installation of RHEL servers in a distributed environment – preferably on HPE equipment. Experience must include hardware buildout, firmware, O/S upgrades, and capacity planning.• Experience in all phases of the entire hardware life cycle is needed.• Proven working experience as a RHEL System Administrator. HP-UX experience is a plus.• RHEL and strong scripting/programming experience required (5 years minimum) with shell scripting (Primary), Perl scripting (Secondary)• O/S backup, recovery, security, integrity, and performance in a virtual and physical environment required.• Knowledge and experience with Red Hat Virtualization (Ovirt) and Satellite is a plus. Knowledge and experience with HPE Primera Storage arrays, HPE Insight, and iLO Amplifier are a plus.• Additional consideration is given for candidates who have experience with DataProtector, Satellite, Samba, Informix, PostgreSQL, RHV - especially in a court environment.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly is critical• Ability to interact with other front line and other second-level support engineers MSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
