Job Family :Operational Effectiveness ConsultingTravel Required :NoneClearance Required :Active SecretWhat You Will Do :The consultant will work closely with our Department of State client to support the team in providing various services in process improvement, change management, training, facilitation, and operational effectiveness. The consultant will work with the team and client to understand their current processes and to help our clients become as streamlined and effective as possible. To support the project, the candidate must coordinate with diverse groups of client stakeholders to facilitate project progress, and help design, plan, and execute deliverables that promote stakeholder buy-in and ensure successful adoption of project goals.What You Will Need :
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work as part of a team, prioritizing resources and time effectively
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Ability to develop integrated messaging that incorporates multiple stakeholder views
Ability to adapt quickly to complex culture and develop successful professional relationships with key stakeholders
Ability to document complex processes and create documented guidance to achieve and sustain future state goals
Comfort in working with and delivering communications to various audiences, including various levels of management and external clients, in a professional environment
Ability to prioritize competing tasks while maintain a keen attention to detail in quality and delivery
Experience with the Department of State
Process improvement certification
Experience and understanding of the security sector
Understanding of the foreign assistance lifecycle
Knowledge and experience with grants and Interagency Agreement
