ensure alignment to business and ISD identification of risks• Socialize, interpret, and deliver clear, objective, insightful and actionable results of cyber research to senior management, stakeholders and other audiences• Lead the execution of custom cyber research experiments and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget • Influence changes or modifications to enterprise security policies/standards/procedures in the face of a changing threat landscape• Promote organizational cybersecurity and information security awareness activities and implement security awareness concepts locally, customizing communications to relevant stakeholders• Ensure InfoSec Services team has clear understanding of security standards and can articulate controls to business units and strategic initiatives• Ensure security-based training materials are specific to business units, accurate and up to date• Maintain awareness of changes across the Information Security Division and work with related teams to maintain alignment of system criticality, risk, and remediation of threats• Perform supervisory/managerial responsibilities• Ensure adequate/skilled staffing; select employees• Establish performance goals and priorities• Prepare, conduct and review performance appraisals• Develop, mentor and counsel staff• Provide input and/or prepare budget requirements for Annual Financial Plan (AFP)• Ensure section/branch goals and objectives align with division/department strategy• Ensure efficiency of operations• Leadership Level - Supervise daily activitiesQualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of training, education and experience• Extensive hands-on experience in cybersecurity, information security, and/or information technology or related field• Experience conducting malware analysis, DFIR, CTI or Threat Hunting investigations. • Extensive hands-on understanding of security practices, processes, and interdependencies across NFCU to combat account takeover, phishing, cashing out and synthetic identity fraud• Partner with federal and state law enforcement agencies on investigations; provide digital forensics as needed.• Actively monitor industry trends, activities, and practices as well as threats and opportunities presented by the Dark Web.• Knowledge of offensive/defensive strategies and Proactive Security Risk Mitigation• Expert communication and interpersonal skills to interact with leaders across all levels and facilitate and manage team interactions • Expert knowledge of industry standards such as FFIEC, GLBA, NCUA, PCI DSS and other information security requirements and frameworks such as MITRE ATTA&CK• Demonstrated ability to present and give talks, facilitate workshops and discussions, and create compelling and engaging presentations to an array of audiences• Experience as a process owner with responsibility for introducing and optimizing processes, practices, and changes at an enterprise level and coordinating across business units• Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security, privacy and/or data protection• In-depth understanding of industry standards and practices (ISO, NIST, COBIT, COSO, ITIL)• Experience leading and managing a team• Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities and competing agendas without express authority over teams• Ability to interpret and fairly apply policies and regulations across a large, complex organization• Analytical aptitude with an emphasis on using an inquiry-based approach, methodical critical questioning and logical thinking; good judgment; and ability to identify and report on key metricsDesired• Working knowledge of the activities within Navy Federal business lines.• Mastery of industry knowledge: CISSP, CISM, and other security certifications preferred.• Mastery of industry standards as shown by certifications: (ISACA, NIST, COBIT, COSO, ITIL)• Experience (and preferably certification) in agile methods and ways of working;
