UPS Global Business Services (GBS) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Billing Associate. Does this sound like your ideal opportunity? If so, we want to hear from you!The Lead Billing Associate focuses on problem resolution by interfacing and communicating with internal and external customers. He/She prepares, consolidates, and audits various billing reports; maintains customer records and ensures systems are updated accordingly; analyzes source documents and reviews records for accuracy; distributes workload among associates and acts as a resource to assist in resolving their issues/questions. Work is performed under broad guidelines.Responsibilities and DutiesOrganizes root cause analysis of systematic and procedural abnormalities causing customer rating and billing errors
Develops, implements, assigns, and monitors action plans to ensure account problem resolution
Identifies system and procedural opportunities to improve implementation efficiency and increase accuracy
Identifies individual associate training needs
Audits work performed by associates for accuracy and completeness
Responds to customer inquiries as needed
Communicates with internal and external customers concerning domestic and international complex issues
Participates in projects as directed by management
Knowledge and SkillsMust have proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Experience with detailed research and analysis of a complex nature where established procedures may not exist
Prior billing experience - Preferred
Knowledge of multiple products, services, and business units - Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business related field - Preferred
