- As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the accurate delivery of both Inventory and Non-Inventory goods, as well as maintaining inventory stock and delivery of received shipments to internal customers.
- Additional responsibilities include performing inter-site shipments, operating equipment in the warehouse, and following area procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
- Utilize SAP system to identify and pull correct parts for delivery
- Ensure Timely and Accurate Receipts of Incoming Inventory and Non-Inventory Shipments
- Verify for proper company and commercial documentation Inspect and sign for packages
- Maintain record retention for all receipt documents (Bill of Lading & Waybills)
- Utilize internet software tracking systems to reflect status orders placed with suppliers (i.e. FedEx, UPS, Quick)
- Prioritize deliveries based on customer needs
- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (Manual/Electric Pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, etc.)
- Process Returns to Stock at client owned materials
- Communicate information requests through phone calls, e-mail, and applicable systems
- Adhere to area Safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Handle materials by applying ergonomic techniques
- Be proactive in preventing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
- Provide shift pass down information
- Perform troubleshooting for data and processing areas
