Role Summary: The Product Launch team is focused on bringing new Audi models and technologies into the US market. This includes future technologies that can bring sustainable, premium mobility to life. We are creating an ecosystem that supports consumer use of new, disruptive products and services. In the immediate future, we are focused on the launch and promotion of Audi's electric vehicle portfolio. This role within the Product Launch team will lead a cross-functional Electric Vehicle Transformation initiative. Audi is committed to the goTOzero mission of being CO2-neutral by 2050. As a Program Manager, you will coordinate, organize, and report on company-wide EV readiness efforts, ensuring that each department and vertical is prepared for EV operations and oriented toward a future in which EVs represent a significant portion of Audi's overall sales volume. Long term, you will ensure that each department is incorporating electrification and future technologies into their strategic planning, and furthermore that each department is aligning with other business units in their strategic planning. You will also serve as an EV evangelist within the company, promoting and supporting long-term company goals including sustainability and electrification with a focus on customer impact. Role Responsibilities: Program Management - 70%- Identify EV Program needs across the organization and develop EV Program roadmap for each area of the business
- Lead a team of cross-functional project managers across all departments to bring EV programs to life
- Conduct strategic benchmarking to ensure relevance and competitiveness of AoA EV Ecosystem
- Provide program management planning and support, including program budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborate with department-level leaders to align and prioritize initiatives within program roadmap establishing integrated program view
- Ensure a standardized approach to the management of projects, to include governance, alignment, tracking, reporting, escalation, and resource requests
- Assist business owners with overall coordination and review of strategic electrification and mobility initiatives, defining conditions for project commencement and resource allocation
- Establish PM best practices and ensure all PMs within the assigned portfolio are adhering to those practices
- Develop standardized tracking and reporting mechanisms that are regularly presented to the EVTO Steering Committee and executive management
- Ensure all PMs effectively track deliverables and milestones while providing regular status updates to project stakeholders
- Confirm proper business readiness activities are conducted to ensure business units are prepared for product and service changes
- Partner with the Manager, EV Charging & Infrastructure to ensure alignment of strategies
- Ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial management is conducted within each project.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and remediation for troubled projects and identify, when possible, the conditions that require remedy to prevent a project from becoming troubled
- Drive estimation, planning, organizing, and monitoring of the activities of cross-functional teams while maintaining overall control of schedules, risks, and committed deliverables
- Assist in identification, assessment, and communication of project risks
- Assist in vendor performance and relationship management
- Facilitate escalations on assigned projects between business and IT
- Provide regular updates to the leadership team on EV program status and needs
- 10 years' experience with program management
- 10 years' experience leading enterprise and cross-functional initiatives
- 5 years' experience in automotive industry or related fields
- Previous experience and knowledge of electric vehicles
- Bachelor's Degree
- MBA
- PMP - Project Management Certification
- PgMP - Program Management Certification
