Job Description

HII, Mission Technologies Division, is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated User Support Assistant to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The applicant will support a team that designs and deploys web-based applications with 4000+ DoD users. The position is based in Alexandria, VA (Kingstowne), but the work can be done in a HYBRID capacity. The individual will need to be in the office 3 days a week and can work remotely 2 days a week. The applicant must possess strong administrative skills and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Work requires the applicant to be a team player who interacts monthly with the Government customer, weekly with the internal team, and constantly with our application's users. Must be able to quickly learn the nuance of our software application to be able to respond to users and to be able to communicate the need for software changes to the software development team. Duties will be under the general direction of the User Support Manager and within the scope of the work derived from a contract with a government customer.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to user inquiries • Provision users on the web application • Troubleshoot user provisioning issues • Update user manuals prior to each software release • Draft user correspondence, such as newsletters and monthly updates • Document user support processes • Facilitate scheduling of user support webinars • Coordinate scheduling of team resources, such as conference and training rooms • Maintain relevant databases, trackers, and spreadsheets

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree in related field. • 2 years of professional experience, with demonstrated user support experience

Clearance Required • Requires a current US Government issued Secret clearance

Preferred Requirements

• Military security background is a PLUS • Experience with government contracts and proposals • Knowledge of DoD EPRM or SMS(CM) applications
