Job Summary/Company:Sparks Group has partnered with a global consulting firm to find a Web Developer. They are modernizing the way their internal users interact with enterprise data through a centralized Analytics Hub. We need innovators in web development with experience integrating multiple applications into a single platform and experience. Using modern frameworks, the Web Developer will work with the core Platforms and Analytics teams to design and develop the Hub based on defined requirements. This is a contract role with a hybrid work schedule.Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position. Responsibilities:- Lead Agile team through all phases of the development lifecycle
- Decompose feature requests into user stories based on functional and technical requirements
- Research new and existing technologies for integration into the Hub
- Develop integrations for applications (Tableau, Power BI, and Databricks) leveraging common coding conventions and APIs to provide a seamless experience
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and creation of release documentation
- Perform operational performance assessments of the developed products and implement optimizations
Qualifications/Background Profile:- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of front-end web development experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.)
- 3+ years of application integration experience using APIs
- 3+ years of experience with backend development (Python Flask, Django, or similar)
- Knowledge of common application and web design patterns
- Experience with software development and engineering practices including Agile development
- Experience with JIRA and GitHub for Agile development and code management
- Work Status: due to government requirements, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
- COVID-19 vaccine: must be fully vaccinated
