Position: Mobility Administrator IIIPosition Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016and Blackberry Unified Endpoint Management (BUEM). The candidate will provide enterprise levelsupport to a global architecture with over 7,000 users using Android and iPhone devices.Clearance Requirement: Active DoD – TS/SCIDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates, troubleshoots, and modernizes the Exchange messaging and mobile devicemanagement services for the Government client.Must have an understanding of Microsoft and Blackberry best practice solutions in aproduction environment with enterprise security requirements in mind.Must interact with system/network administrators, enterprise security, and governmentpersonnel.Installs, configures, and maintains BUEM servers to include (but not limited to) operatingsystem patches, software version updates, and DoD Security Technical ImplementationGuidelines (STIG) application and validation efforts.Troubleshoots iPhone and Android device activation and configuration issues, developingStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for delegation.Creates and modifies application groups, policies, application configurations, and usergroups within BUEM.Performs routine maintenance of Exchange 2016, Exchange 2013, and Exchange 2010servers to include (but not limited to) operating system patches, software version updates,and DoD STIG application and validation.Installs and configures Exchange 2016 in support of 2010 upgrade efforts.Troubleshoots connectivity problems with Outlook 2013/2016, webmail, and ActiveSyncconnections.Creates and manages SMTP relays on Exchange, as well as manages the SMTP gatewayson the boundary.Troubleshoots Exchange 2010 and 2016 issues with SMTP transport, client access, anddatabase health.Performs daily operations and maintenance of an availability group-based Exchangeenvironment to include capacity checks, logging, and overall system health.Recommends upgrade paths as applicable to include additional functionality rollouts.Proactively manages systems to provide consistent service uptime for user base.Responds in support of after-hours outage resolution (shares with other Messagingadmins).Supports enterprise patching efforts as required.Installs, configures, and integrates remote Exchange servers in support of off-sitereplication for DR solutions.COMPETENCIES:Good communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow policies and proceduresAbility to communicate in a clear speaking voice as well as the ability to respond clearlyto questionsAptitude to address negative situations and resolve them in a positive manner.Education and Certification Requirements:DoD 8570 IAT III certification (CASP+ce, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP [or Associate],GCED, GCIH)Professional level certification, i.e. MCITP, MCSE or BlackBerry System IntegrationProfessionalBackground and Experience:5+ years working with Microsoft Exchange3+ years working with Blackberry UEM10+ years supporting DoD enterprise environmentsPreferred Technical Skills:In-depth understanding of Windows infrastructure technologies, such as Group PolicyObjects and how they affect/interact with Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) within theenterpriseComprehensive understanding of Networking in an enterprise and how the networkaffects/interacts with BES within the enterpriseAbility to interface with vendors and clients (internal and external)Ability to analyze situations and formulate recommendations to upper managementProfessional Level certification, i.e. MCSA or MCSEPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may requirestanding and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generallyfavorable.
