Job Title: Modeling & Simulation SME Location: Stafford, VA (possibly remote or hybrid, TBD) Positions: 1 Clearance: DOD Secret clearance Education: Master's Degree in IT Systems or Related Field (Required) Experience: 5+ years of related experience Salary: Please let us know your salary requirement Desired Qualifications/Experience: - Experience on MPF operations, embarkation, amphibious ship loading and unloading (i.e. combat cargo officer), air movement planning, MAGTF expeditionary operations, and strategic mobility level including holding billets at the MEF, MEU and deployment time on amphibious ships in multiple Areas of Operations.
- Experience and knowledge of how data is captured and used from multiple data systems that support prepositioning, force flow, and related management including: MCPIC, Global Transportation Network, Single Mobility System, Joint Force Requirements Generator II and supporting USMC logistics systems like TFSMS & GCSS-MC. Ability to manipulate these data sources to provide combined inputs into a modeling and simulation suite.
- Experience developing algorithms, user interfaces, synthesizing data, producing graphs and tables, and developing within and managing a multi-developer R-code base. Experience using R to model unit level force flow, recommend sourcing, estimate MPF arrival and assembly needs, support scenario input and M&S output data analysis with visualization.
- Experience developing and maintaining high resolution, complex models utilizing ExtendSim AT or similar capability.
- Experience with using a simulation-optimization wrapper to provide optimal trade-offs such across multiple scenarios such as OptDef.
