Job Summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced NAVY Technical Program Manager with Customer Liaison Officer experience to join our DOD team.

The successful candidate will manage technical programs and projects for the DCIO-SAP program and serve as a liaison between the NAVY and DCIO-SAP IT customers.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as technical expertise in various areas such as IT, engineering, and programmatic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Navy and our DCIO-SAP IT customers, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Help synchronize current operations and future plans between the DCIO for SAP IT and DAF.
  • Provide SAP IT expertise in support of the Department of the Navy. The officer will provide review, assessment, projects and ensure activities meet DCIO for SAP IT standards and are in accordance with policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Navy personnel and other stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions meet requirements and are delivered on-time and within budget.
  • Identify risks and issues and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Navy personnel, customers, and vendors.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and tools to complete their work effectively.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as engineering or a Master's degree, is preferred.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • 5 or more years of experience in technical program management, preferably in defense, IT, or Defense Industry Base (DIB).
  • 5 or more years of experience as a customer liaison officer or similar role, with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders.
  • 5 or more years of experience utilizing strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Navy personnel, customers, and vendors.
  • 5 or more years of proven technical expertise in areas such as Engineering, Information Technology, Programmatic, or research and development (R&D).
  • Proven experience effectively communicating technical issues to a non-technical audience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Knowledge of NAVY policies, procedures, and regulations is preferred.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
