The Network & Datacenter Administrator III - Responsible for designing, maintaining, and managing the enterprise-wide IT infrastructure of the organization. Analyzes system requirements and ensures that systems are secure and integrated with current applications. Ensures that all systems are working at optimal levels and supports network and operations departments with regard to new technologies and system requirements. This is a #HYBRID work opportunity.  Must be local to Roanoke for on-site work as needed. Relocation available.Responsibilities & Tasks:Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on-premise, and in the cloud, to address requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.Able to automate installations and implementation for provisioning and operating infrastructure in a reliable and repeatable method.Together with the infrastructure team, you will participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for incidents.Provide periodic off-hours on-call support for production and development teams.Work closely with a team of architects, and engineers, and act as the SME for Network, Datacenter, and related requests.Create functional design specifications for on-prem & cloud reference architectures and assist with other network and related project deliverables as needed.Conduct monthly security scans and installation of security patches as required.Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly system maintenance as requiredImplement operating system enhancements that will improve reliability.Interact with software, systems, IT engineering, and/or applications development to restore service.Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve reliability.Monitors the performance of the overall network and collaboration systems.Maintains current trends and a high level of technical skill in the field of expertise.Escalates more complex problems to appropriate personnel.Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
