Network Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities:

802.1X and management applications like Cisco ISE
Experience with Network management solutions (Infoblox, Solarwinds, and others)
Experience with configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment, Spine and Leaf switches
Experience with NetScaler or other Load Balancers
Experience with Software Defined Networking applications like Cisco DNA Center
Experience with managing a Cisco Wireless Controller based environment

Knowledge/Skill Requirement:

CCNA (in R/S, SP, Data Center or Security) or JNCIA are desired
Preferred applicants will also have experience with VPN technologies, vulnerability assessment tools, event and log analysis solutions, configuration and change management and other network security systems and devices.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switched infrastructure.
Experience with packet capture and analysis methodologies.
Network components and concepts such as:
Routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls and other L2-L3 networking and L4-L7 services components and technologies from a variety of vendors
Experience in protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VXLAN, IPsec, IP Subnetting and other network design topics
2+ years of customer facing experience
Solid networking troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of various Operating System types
Works well with teams as well as individually
Working knowledge of load-balancing, firewalling, and micro-segmentation
Automation scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript or other
