Job Title: Network EngineerJob Type: FulltimeJob Location: Ashburn, VAResponsibilities:- You are responsible for the planning, design, installation and administration of our internal network infrastructure and system infrastructure
- Analyzing and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and network issues
- Monitoring of the whole infrastructure to ensure the smooth functioning of the network infrastructure and connected IT systems
- You evaluate the cost/benefit of different solutions and different technologies for the network architecture
- You identify architectural issues and gaps in security concepts and propose recommendations for improvements to management - this includes routine audits of systems and software
- You are responsible for the review and documentation for the configuration of internal network infrastructure
- Lastly, you proactively promote the exchange of information from other departments to share ideas and make recommendations to resolve issues
Requirements:- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the planning and implementation and operation of complex IT systems and globally distributed networks and thus have a sound and extensive knowledge of IT system and network architectures

- Cisco Catalyst 9xxx and Nexus Switches
- Cisco Firepower Firewalls and Firepower Management Center
- Cisco DNA including Client
- Cisco Secure Network Analytics

- DCIM & IPAM tools (e.g., NetBox)
- IaC tools (e.g., Ansible)
- SIEM tools (e.g., GrayLog)
- System monitoring (e.g., CheckMK)
- Network analyzing tools (e.g., tcpdump and wireshark)
- Your distinctive analytical and always structured way of working you use skilfully
- Very good English skills in speech and writing complete your profile
