Description:NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGERLocal or willing to relocate Only: Will be Onsite One Week. Offsite the Next.Manage software implementation, integration, development or upgrade projects ranging from $100k to $1M, covering platforms such as web, cloud, mobile, GIS, financial systems, customer systems and SCADA. Projects may include outside vendors and PM manages those contracts.Mostly waterfall methodology, but frequently run projects as Agile, where appropriate. Individual PM will run 3-5 projects.Top Must Have Skills:1) Strong project leadership & ownership.2) Effective communicator.3) Robust working knowledge of PMI / PMBOK project management processes.Top Nice to Have Sills:1) Experience with SAP.2) Knowledge of earned value analysis.3) Experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies.Experience in Energy / utility, financial / banking, manufacturing industries is helpful but not required.- Experienced managing projects in large corporate or enterprise environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project.
- MS Project Online and SAP experience are beneficial.
- Comfortable managing budgets and resource plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- PMP preferred.
Job may require traveling from one Richmond office to another. Contractor to provide his / her own transportation between offices. Position may require occasional out-of-town travel. If a project requires travel, it would typically be a trip once every 2-3 months. Travel expenses are reimbursable.Will need to comply with hybrid office and work-from-home policies as well as policies on masking and social distancing for COVID. Our client provides computer and associated equipment for the office. The contractor is responsible for outfitting his / her home office. Cell phone is not provided. Location = Downtown Richmond VA (no parking provided)Rate = $60-$69/hr on a W2 contractLength = 1+ Year W2 Contract - Possible long term/extension for the right candidate
