- Be proficient in the configuration and troubleshooting of IPS and IDS devices.
- Be proficient in the configuration and troubleshooting of VPNs and IPSEC, and Cisco ASA devices.

- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, VoIP Systems)
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including Software/Firmware, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Work to enhance configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
- Monitor and maintain network capacity and performance.
- Maintain complete technical documentation including developing, maintaining network diagrams with Visio, creating SOP’s or updating existing SOP’s.
- Responsible for design and engineering of IP and IP security of national data centers.
- Work with cross functional teams to communicate the engineering design plan in support of the development and deployment of network plans, upgrades and enhancements.
- Provide capacity management of currently deployed IP Security devices and links.
- Work with new architectures and product introduction to make them standard implemented solution in the network.
- Assist other Network Engineering teams in the analysis and diagnosis of problems.
- Current on IP and security products, standards and practices.
- Must have active Secret (SSBI) clearance
- Must have BA/BS and over 2+ years experience or related IT experience.
- Must have experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and gateway devices, working with the following tools: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, LAN/WAN concepts, Application firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Linux/Unix and Windows.
