We have day and/or night shifts available and many start dates to choose from, depending on the unit, which will be discussed when you apply and speak with the recruiter. We are hiring in the following areas:

Critical Care Units: Emergency Room, ICU, Neuro ICU, Labor & Delivery, Operating Room

Medical Surgical/Telemetry/Stepdown Units: Medical Care, Surgical Care, Intermediate Care, Joint Replacement, Oncology, Neuro Stepdown, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Gynecological Surgical

HCA Nurse Residency Program

StaRN Orientation(10-22 weeks total- length depends on the unit):

Our StaRN Program will provide you with the tools necessary to succeed in today’s hospital environment. It will help you transition out of the classroom setting and onto the unit by providing the following training:

• 5-10 weeks classroom, self-study, skills & simulations
• 5-12 weeks preceptorship
• Certifications: ECG, TeamSTEPPS, BLS/ACLS, CPI, ENPC, PALS, TNCC, NRP, STABLE
  • Certifications received are based on the unit you are hired into

After StaRN, you will transition into our Professional Development Residency:

• 9 month program factored into a full time position on the unit
• You will learn Charge Nurse skills
• You will collaborate with a mentor to complete an evidence-based Capstone Project (4 hours a month)
• Your project has an opportunity to gain recognition by corporate for further recognition

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Applicants may apply and be offered position prior to passing NCLEX exam
• Previous nursing support or service industry experience preferred
• Self-motivated and strong communication skills required
