Founded in 1976, CGI is among the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world, operating across 21 industries in 400 locations worldwide.As a member of CGI Federal’s Financial Management (FMG) program, you will work with some of the industry’s most experienced consultants to plan, mobilize, and deliver organizational change management (OCM), strategic communications, and end-user training in support of a multi-year contract for a large U.S. Federal client.In a highly collaborative team environment, your work will directly support senior government officials on Department-wide business transformation and modernization efforts for an organization of approximately 10,000 stakeholders and end-users.This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of passionate technologists. As a solution builder, you will be working to support the client’s mission and goals of transforming their financial management program.This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at client site in Arlington, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.Your future duties and responsibilities:The purpose of this role is to leverage the change management toolkit in assisting clients and their internal customers transition from a legacy Acquisition system to an updated, modern Acquisition system provided by CGI Federal. With a heavy emphasis on cross-functional collaboration, all Senior Consultants are expected to perform the primary duties and responsibilities listed below.Soft skills Manage Client Relationship(s). Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to create meaningful information for a wide range of stakeholders with different priorities. Convert Intelligence to Action. Effectively communicate specific action(s) and value proposition(s) for next steps based on analysis of quantitative and qualitative information. Create and present polished products. Create well-composed, well-scripted, refined work products using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to effectively communicate an organized story.Metrics and Measurement Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis of system users in a highly matrixed organization. Document and compare current state business processRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Psychology, or related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in the management consulting industry. Minimum 4 years of experience as a change management practitioner. Strong foundation of consulting skills: adaptability, assertiveness, client relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, goal-setting, task management, time management, public speaking, etc. Strong foundation of professional skills: communication (verbal and written), critical thinking, decision making, emotional intelligence, organization, problem-solving, teamwork, etc. Minimum 2 years of experience as a task lead for professional communication, strategic communication, and/or technical writing. Proven experience understanding a target audience and creating custom messaging. Proven experience editing documents across multiple formats and creating polished materials Minimum 2 years of experience as a task lead for professional training, instructional design, and/or workshop facilitation. Proven experience facilitating live (instructor-led) and pre-recorded (software-based) training. Proven experience using different learning principles and instructional design theories to develop training materials and job aids.Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: Experience working on large-scale system implementations (e.g., financial systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP), Momentum Financials, etc.). Certified Change Management Practitioner™ (CCMP™) certification issued by the Association of Change Management Professionals® (ACMP). Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification issued by Prosci®. Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) certification issues by the Customer Experience Professionals Association™ (CXPA).CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
