Background : The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) provides force protection, security, and law enforcement to safeguard personnel, facilities, infrastructure, and other resources for the Pentagon Reservation and designated DoD facilities within the National Capital Region (NCR). The Investigations & Intelligence Division (IID) was established to maintain an organic Force Protection capability to provide training, identify vulnerabilities, and resolve other Force Protection matters to intelligence and terrorist threats targeting the DoD Law Enforcement public safety and High-Risk personnel (HRP). This task order provides PFPA with the necessary resources to accomplish its mission requirements.

Open-Source Intelligence Analyst:

The contractor shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience utilizing publicly available information in a law enforcement/military capacity; including extensive knowledge of social media platforms (including non-traditional platforms), public records (court records, property records, business records, etc.), blogs, databases, maps, videos, academic literature, news media and journals, technical publications, professional publications, economic data, demographic data, and survey research.

Contractor personnel are required to be a subject matter expert on OSINT methodologies, including Boolean logic, information gathering, identity resolution, analysis, data exploitation, and commercial and industry-based tools/databases.

Contractor personnel are required to have experience with, Data Analytics, Authentic8, Dataminr, Jarviss, Babel Street X, CLEAR, or other comparable open-source data aggregators/tools. An understanding of how to pull data from multiple sources, analyze the data and provide detailed reports on the extracted and evaluated data, using both traditional and non-traditional methods.

Contractor personnel must be able to work independently/proactively, as well as, in a team environment, and have the ability to quickly respond to RFI's in clear and concise manner.

Contractor personnel must have demonstrated experience writing reports and developing products for law enforcement/military customers, based on research identified within publicly available information (PAI).

An active DoD TS/SCI (or higher) clearance level is required to begin performance.
