- Program key personnel position requires: 3 years managing Operations Center environments; 10 years experience in a technical/computer related capacity .

- Primary interfaces are the Contract Officer Representative, Government Program Manager and SETA staff, Operational Team Leads, internal customers, external customers or suppliers
- Monitor systems performance/metrics and communicating/elevating issues as necessary
- Experience with network/system monitoring/management tools such as ClearSwift, Splunk, OpenAudit, and SolarWinds
- Experience with working in a Red Hat Linux environment
- The individual will be an active member of the Configuration, Change and Control Board and will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost/risk, supportability and effectiveness analysis of Enterprise level Microsoft Windows and Red Hat LINUX based systems
- Manage a risk profile and design effective mitigation strategies while maintaining national level system security accreditation requirements
- Skilled at executing complex tasks and must be able to participate in program and team strategies for multiple projects
- Provide strong technical direction in linking project strategy to business roadmaps
- Oversees, manages and leads various teams consisting of System Administrators (Windows and LINUX), Storage Engineers, Network Engineers, Helpdesk Technicians, Web Developers, and Operational Support Staff
- Interact with customers and end users
- Brief and communicate with high level management and government officials
- Conducts monthly engineering status reviews and provides material for the monthly program reviews
- Create, provide input and review documentation to include standard operating procedures, security documents and plans and technical papers
- Create, coordinate and assign tasks for project schedules as well as brief status to government officials and upper management
- Maintain system documentation
- Ability to proactively identify issues and resolve and make suggestions for improvements to the environment
- Plans, authorizes, and monitors the engineering work (including providing strong leadership to ensure all events occur as planned)
- Manages engineering resources (e.g. staff assignments, capital equipment, etc.), organizational interfaces, and engineering scope
- Staffs the project team (along with SEM and maybe Director of Engineering) with the appropriate engineering personnel
- Ensures that team members are rewarded for their contributions
- May provide performance feedback and management for the project team
- Fosters cross-functional collaboration and builds project consensus
- Ensures all program deliverables (including documentation) are developed with high quality and delivered on time
- Develops and maintains engineering plans as required by the program
- Manages the engineering related risks and opportunities of the program
- Assists with developing and managing the systems change management process
- Manages the resolution of technical issues and ensures that they are communicated and resolved.
- Takes immediate & decisive action in dealing with technical & performance issues
- Implements effective corrective actions as required
- Leads small proposals and ECPs with identification of cross business unit strengths and technical shortcomings
- Assists in ROM development

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with Trusted computing based systems concepts, cross domain solutions, Red Hat Enterprise LINUX (RHEL) systems and other DoD classified systems requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
- Demonstrated experience working with DoD classified IT system security configuration and processes is essential
