Operations Research Analyst

to join our team to support US Army's Organizational Study of their Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS) aboard Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This is a full-time position and on-site supporting the review, study, and recommendation of organizational changes to stream-line processes and operations, staff structure organization, and process revisions. This is position supports a small highly visible team of organizational development specialists engaging directly with O-6 and GS-15 managers to identify better organizational designs and support Organizational Change Management (OCM). This position requires agility to support organizational analysis and design activities and implementation of that organization design. He/she should be located in the National Capitol Region and have the ability to attend client meetings and workshops in person at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Your day-to-day work will include:
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and execution of the project organization study Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Responsible for developing meeting/interview schedules for individual organizational Program sections.
  • Support data gathering and analysis related to organizational design, process mapping, programmatic requirements, and individual staff responsibilities.
  • Support building implementation roadmaps and reporting templates to monitor, track, and report status (associated risks).
  • Assist in Program Management interviews, program section meetings, and organizational updates.
  • Support development of OCM course of action (COA) recommendations, briefing materials, and presentations.
  • Support coordination of required meetings, information dissemination, and GS-15/O-6 level engagements.

At a minimum you should have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or Applied Behavioral Science
  • SECRET Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in organizational development and/or organizational change management (OCM)
  • Certification in Change Management (i.e., PROSCI)
  • Live in the National Capitol Region

You will be highly desirable if you have:
  • Uses data and analytics to drive insights and help design organizational models and business case analysis
  • Developing organization performance metrics
  • Managing the process for developing organization design alternatives, testing them against design criteria and facilitating alignment of leadership groups around design selection and implementation
  • Partnering with senior leaders to create strategic solutions across people, organization, business, and technology that meet unique mission needs
  • Briefing and facilitating leaders at the G-15 or 0-6 Level
  • Building implementation roadmaps and project plan and establishing processes and reporting templates to monitor, track and report status and risk
