As a Mechanical Assembler you will be building and assembling shelf units for a warehouse and distribution center being completed.

This position is supporting the final phases of a new distribution and warehouse center being built in Virginia Beach.

Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: $20.00/hr

Responsibilities:

Assemble PODS (inventory bins).

Use hand and power tools.

Lift and move objects regularly, up to 40 lbs.

Assist with inventory management and documentation of any errors.

Help perform material handling and general labor duties as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with rivet guns, power tools, and hand tools.

Experience in mechanical assembly.

Ability to lift heavy objects and sustain physical activity throughout the day.

Attention to detail and ability to document errors accurately.

Strong communication skills.

Additional Information

This is a contract only position and will be starting in January 2025 and is estimated to finish in June/July 2025.

Work Environment

The facility is currently in the construction phase, so you will be working in a construction environment, which includes a non-climate controlled setting.

The build is built and enclosed but the AC & Heating systems are not fully finished being installed
