The position will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery scope on water treatment projects, managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets.Outsourcing Assembly Lead will be responsible for leading the outsourcing activities from bid to delivery for water treatment projects. This role manages 3rd party supplier performance, oversees supplier activities, ensures quality and safety compliance, and coordinates with the project team to deliver projects on time and within budget. The Outsourcing Assembly Lead will work closely with the Project Manager, SPL, SQE and design teams to ensure successful project execution while maintaining strong supplier relationships and managing project risks.Key Characteristics:Strong Leadership and Supplier ManagementProject Execution and Schedule ManagementQuality Assurance and ComplianceCost Control and Budget ManagementSafety and EHS AwarenessProblem-Solving and Risk MitigationCommunication and CoordinationAttention to DetailIntegrity and ProfessionalismDuties & Responsibilities:Lead and manage 3rd Party Outsourcing activities for assembled equipment scope on assigned projects.Oversee, supervise, and coach execution team members assigned to outsource projects and administration of contracts with suppliersObserve and review projects during execution, monitoring conformance with plans, specifications, design standards, and applicable codes and regulationsMonitor the progress of Outsource assembly  activities, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality standards are met; track and report on project metricsReview requests for change orders from suppliers and ensure all documentation is in place to support payable requirements.Communicate with and make recommendations to the Project Manager, and design team to resolve assembly issues and manage change orders.Mentor and guide junior staff, on assembly best practicesMonitor contract administration during bid review, RFI/RFQ responses, to ensure scope and schedule is maintained and to minimize change orders.Coordinate quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects.Manage contractor performance, including compliance with contract terms, schedule adherence, quality standards, and safety requirementsCoordinate with EHS and QA/QC functional teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standardsDevelop and implement project management plans for, establishing goals and objectives for unique and complex installationsEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and project stakeholdersHard Skills:Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for water treatment applicationsExperience with project management and supplier oversightExperience with SAPUnderstanding of supplier contracts, terms, and conditionsExperience working in a matrix organisation with multiple stakeholdersKnowledge of fabrication and assembly scheduling and project controls  Soft Skills:Strong Leadership and Team ManagementExcellent Communication SkillsProblem-Solving and Decision-MakingContractor and Stakeholder ManagementOrganized and Self-MotivatedAbility to Manage Multiple PrioritiesAttention to DetailIntegrity and ProfessionalismAdaptability in Fast-Paced EnvironmentCollaborative Approach to Project Delivery
