Come be a part of an amazing team and culture where you have the opportunity to learn and grow within the organization where our motto is "Possibilities are LIMIT LESS"!General Job Description:To verify outbound accuracy of picked orders from Active Pick areas and pack units in shipping cartons, seal and send customer orders to shipping as efficiently and accurately as possible. To follow at all times, company safety rules, ergonomics procedures and packing guidelines.Principal Accountabilities:To make cartons, move totes and cartons, operate the vertical lift to transport cartons and totes, transfer unfulfilled picks, operate cardboard bailer, monitor sealing machines to keep filled and provide corrective action if needed.Direct and control warehouse operations, stock deployment functions, and inventory control functions involved in the physical distribution of company products; ensure cost effective operations while meeting quality customer service and inventory turnover objectives. Pack orders from stored merchandise by selecting specified items from different areas in distribution center. Indicate items filled or omitted. Move merchandise manually from one location to another. May process returned merchandise.Under direct supervision:Responsible for manual packing operations such as filling, marking, wrapping, banding and packing containers with products and/or materials Count and weigh products and packed containers May replenish packing materials as neededKnowledge and Skill Requirements:Start your career with a premiere employer and be trained on the job by one of our experienced employees.High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred, but not required.One year of experience is preferred, but not required.Knowledge and Application:Basic level of education will be required; reading, writing, and basic numeracy Required to follow simple instructions No formal occupational training required May operate some simple equipment under guidance and instructionProblem Solving:Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available All nonstandard problems will be referred to supervisor or more experienced incumbent Solutions are obvious or there are a finite number of clear-cut alternatives Solutions can be reached and applied immediatelyInteraction:Interaction with others is limited to own team with little requirement for internal or external contact Basic numeracy and literacy skills required Displays common courtesy and politeness and uses basic verbal skillsImpact:Supports the achievement of goals through personal effort in own work area Impact will be limited to the delivery of own work tasks which will be managed on a day-to-day or task-by-task basisAccountability:Accountable for delivery of own tasks to agreed time and quality standards Performance measured frequently against predefined service level requirements or equivalent metricVF Diversity Vision Statement
