Job DescriptionThe Pantry Worker will play an important role in assisting with the preparation and assembly of food items for various catering events. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while contributing to the success of our catering services.Job Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pantry area, including food storage areas and workstations.

Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient production of food items.

Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.

Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.

Help with inventory management and stock control to minimize waste and ensure availability of necessary ingredients.

Support catering events by preparing and assembling food items as needed.

Uphold Aramark's quality standards by following recipes and presentation guidelines.

Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests during catering events.

Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting preferred.

Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.

Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

Ability to push/pull heavy carts, tables, and cabinets.

Ability to move equipment over varying terrain, indoor or outdoor.

Ability to work in varying temperature environments.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
