Part Time Fabrication Technician

Floral Genius is the only U.S. manufacturer of handcrafted metal flower holders—also known as kenzans or flower frogs. We are a small, family-owned business dedicated to preserving the tradition of sustainable floral mechanics through thoughtful, durable craftsmanship.

We’re seeking a Flower Frog Fabrication Technician who will help bring our iconic products to life. This hands-on role supports every step of the fabrication process—from casting to cleaning to painting. Key Responsibilities

- Hand-set precision pin plates for flower frog production

- Cast metal flower holders using safe and approved processes

- Clean, grind, and finish castings to prepare them for painting or sale

- Paint finished products while maintaining consistent, high-quality results

- Follow strict safety protocols in all stages of production

- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and operating efficiently

- Maintain product quality standards across all fabrication steps

- Record accurate daily time and production logs

Requirements

- Reliable transportation to and from work

- Able to lift up to 60 pounds

- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistency and care

- Ability to follow strict safety guidelines and operational procedures

- Able to stand for extended periods

- Willing to work in a non–non-climate-controlled environment

- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
