Description We are offering a short term contract opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role involves working within the Human Resources sector, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration. The workplace is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a detail oriented with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.Responsibilities: Accurately processing payroll using ADP Conducting data entry and reconciliation of timecards Distributing paychecks and statements to respective managers Efficiently responding to inquiries from employees and vendors Managing benefits administration tasks Conducting background checks when necessary Maintaining and updating HR records Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various administrative tasks Ensuring all customer service interactions are handled professionally Monitoring and taking appropriate action on customer accounts as required Requirements Must possess expertise in Human Resources (HR) Administration Experience in Benefits Administration is crucial Proficiency in ADP - Payroll is required Familiarity with conducting Background Checks Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have a proactive approach to identify and resolve issues Should have a strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
