Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role is within the telecom industry, and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our client's ADP payroll process. The ability to work remotely is available, with a preference for candidates in the Richmond, VA area.Responsibilities: Perform multi-state payroll tasks to support our client's GlobalView ADP payroll process Analyze and review state and federal tax deductions from payroll Work with accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, and Kronos Timekeeping System Administer 401k - RRSP Administration and About Time systems Handle accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Use your skills in international payroll to add value to our operations Work within core hours of 9-3pm EasternRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Ceridian Knowledge of IBM AS/400 Experience with Kronos Timekeeping System Familiarity with 401k - RRSP Administration Knowledge of About Time Proficiency in Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Excellent problem solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines Strong skills in interdepartmental communications and cooperation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
