Together, we can make it happen.Don't take our word for it.• Military Times 2021 Best for Vets Employers• WayUp Top 100 Internship Programs• Forbes® 2022 The Best Employers for New Grads• Forbes® America's Best Employers• Newsweek Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces• Fortune Best Workplaces for Women• Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For®• Computerworld® Best Places to Work in ITBasic Purpose This position sustains the current volume of product delivery commitments by contributing as summarized but not limited to below: Responsibilities• Work in an agile, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with short release cycles and actively collaborate with multiple stakeholders• Work on major projects of complex scope and features. • Develops to the design specification, aligned with documented business requirements and goals.• Work as part of Business Process Digitalization Scrum delivery team to code/integrate solutions of quality, standards and/or design patterns, within planned sprint timelines• Partner with CLSA & CSSAs to deliver to design, architecture compliance guidelines, security requirements, and design and development standards• Ensure the product delivery quality is in adherence to best practices and standards• Assist the Lead Pega Developer with development work streams, from design through testing and deployment.• Coordinates with BPD Manager & Technical Product Owner for the product execution on Pega platform for Business Stakeholders. • Contributes towards building Pega reusable components that can be leveraged across multiple Pega applications. • Supports DevOPs delivery across scrum teams to produce and support Pega code to best practices, quality, and technical standards • Sustains application knowledge and business partner relationships for on-going support such as enhancements or break/fix • Supports Automation Testing on Pega applications and defines best practices when building Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and documentQualifications • Master's Degree or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience• 3-5 + years of total IT experience preferably progressive starting as programmer and growing into a Pega developer in particular Pega Unit.• Familiarity with Automation tools like Selenium preferred.• At least, 2 years of progressive experience in Pega• At least 2+ years of financial industry preferably banking industry experience • Good verbal and written communication skills• Experience with iterative development and the Agile methodology as it applies to software development. • Experience in working effectively with diverse internal and external contactsHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocation: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180 | 5550 Heritage Oaks Dr. Pensacola, FL 32526 | 141 Security Dr. Winchester, VA 22602Navy Federal is now hybrid!
