As a Shift Technician at Micron Technology at Manassas, Virginia, you are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment and/or processes, while working in partnership with production team members and area engineers. Shift Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to solve and repair equipment issues. They are also required to assist with equipment installs, engineering tests, build and modify equipment procedures, increase tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting, quality workmanship, and deeply document all maintenance.Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits

A mechanical proficiency with the ability to understand and solve mechanical systems.

Flexibility and ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotate shifts as needed.

Basic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Proven ability to fix basic problems and address root causes.

Basic data extraction, analysis and reporting skills.

AAS in Electronics and/or relevant experience and/or equivalent military experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two (2) years working as a technician within the semiconductor industry.

Highly knowledgeable of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, electronic components and circuits.

A strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and solve mechanical systems.

Demonstrated experience in using schematic diagrams to troubleshoot systems to components level.

Demonstrated experience in solid time management and prioritization skills.

Confirmed ability in multi-tasking complex projects and working in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Demonstrated ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities.

Successfully proven teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
