As a Platform Capability Engineering Intern at ATPCO, you will be part of a high-impact team focused on evolving internal developer platforms and configuration management solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineers and platform managers to enhance automation, tooling, and documentation across our platform ecosystem, contributing to real-world solutions in a hybrid working environment.You will:Assist in developing automation scripts for configuration management and developer productivity toolsAnalyze platform engineering data and generate insights using Python or JavaParticipate in the development of Java-based utilities for managing APIs, tools, and internal systemsDesign and document internal libraries using OOP principlesContribute to internal dashboards or metrics collection toolsHelp maintain and update documentation for platform engineering workflows and systemsThe Ideal Candidate:Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Familiar with Python and Java, with projects involving object-oriented programming, file handling, and algorithmic logicHands-on experience with Java Collections, inheritance, and class design through coursework or projectsExperience with data processing, exception handling, and file I/OComfortable working with productivity tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, and ArcGISStrong communicator and team collaborator with demonstrated initiative through club participation and academic projectsMust be local and able to commute to the office at least 2 days per week
