The candidate must be able to access and conduct in-person meetings at the FDIC Virginia Square campus.Position OverviewThe IOSB and CTSS PMO Specialist for Strategic Planning, Policy & Governance plays a key role in developing, maintaining, and standardizing governance, project management policies, procedures, best practices, and documentation in support of IOSB and CTSS efforts. This role ensures that all PMO governance materials leverage industry best practices, adhere to regulatory and contractual requirements, are accessible, consistent, up-to-date, and are actively applied. The PMO Specialists for Strategic Planning, Policy & Governance work closely with project teams, compliance, support contractors, and senior leadership to embed a culture of structured, well-documented project execution and oversight.Key Responsibilities:Provides project and program-level specialized support for complex program operations.Provides extensive collaboration with management at all levels and across organizational boundaries. Has the ability to assess and apply multiple organizational and management improvement techniques in a government environmentSupport development and maintain PMO policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks.Ensure all PMO documentation complies with internal controls, legal standards, and industry best practices.Lead the creation and maintenance of templates, manuals, and guidelines for project management activities.Collaborate with FDIC project managers and business units, as well as other contractors, to gather input and validate as-is business processes for evaluation and improvements.Facilitate regular reviews and updates of documentation to reflect evolving processes, tools, and regulatory changes.Maintain a centralized documentation repository and version control system.Support internal audits, quality reviews, and compliance activities by ensuring accurate and complete documentation.Provide guidance and training to project staff on documentation standards and best practices for writing.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify or enhance PMO documentation.Ensures all work products are complete, accurate, and conform to the FDIC standard.Ability to create and assess performance measures
