M9 Solutions is seeking a
Principal Integration Engineer to work remotely on a government contract for a client located in Arlington, VA.Candidates must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. US Citizenship is required. Responsibilities- Ensure the architecture and design of Cloud-hosted infrastructure and information systems are functional and secure.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions as related to the Cloud.
- Ensure a common and understood security posture across all the SAFe trains and applications.
- Drive, influence, and coordinate a secure approach to the development of solutions across the enterprise.
- Document a security architecture and implement DevSecOps such as code security best practices and system development life cycle road mapping.
- Perform Security Impact Analysis for a data Cloud environment.
- Collaborate with an Agile scrum team and lead special projects in an Agile execution environment.
- Assist in the creation of a unified approach to security by supporting the rapid evolution and innovation needs.
- Provide technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integration solutions.
- Develop and deliver communications to management and program-wide stakeholders.
- Provide proper guidance to ensure integration services and architectures are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced, and maintained according to the enterprise standards and expected service quality.
- Responsible for providing expertise regarding security risks and risk mitigation approaches.
- Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to pass a background investigation for a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of overall work-related experience.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS operations and services.
- Knowledge of old infrastructure automation and familiarity with software development practices such as Agile, SAFe, and CI/CD.
- Ability to implement risk assessment techniques, control remediation and security best practices.
- Understand how security impacts the development pipeline with a familiarity of DevSecOps, SAFe, and an Agile culture.
- Knowledge of AWS DevSecOps, Cloud Computing, Identity Access Management, Infrastructure as Code, Patch Management, Secure Monitoring, Cost Controls, and Compliance.
- Experience with Industry standard collaborative tools and SIEM content analysis, SAST tools, development, and testing practices.
- Prior experience working in a security operations center or network operations center.
- Current experience with Cloud security policy implementation and management of audits.
- Experience in the response, mitigation, and/or reporting of cyber threats.
- Strong foundation of risk Management Frameworks (e.g., NIST rev 4/5).
- Well versed in practical application of risk management techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to document and advise on cyber policy, principles, processes, architectures, and controls.
- Possess one or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, SSCP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty is preferred.
- Salary Range: $60,000/year - $180,000/year
