This individual will be capable of identifying and acting on the opportunities that emerging technologies present for dramatic design productivity improvements. Focus will be on refining the technical vision, prototyping promising approaches and internally championing chip design requirements. This role requires  collaborating with engineers, researchers, partners and teaching customers to assess, prioritize, and execute on the most promising opportunities to deliver impact. We’re looking for someone who has a demonstrated history of creatively managing and solving hard technical problems and is passionate about building solutions with potential to revolutionize how chips are designed. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

Experience with chip design flows including simulation, synthesis and place & route of digital or mixed signal systems at block and chip levels.

Experience with fundamentals of deep learning, AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and cloud computing fundamentals.

Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development in the field of electronic design automation, semiconductor IP, and advanced design methodologies.

OR equivalent experience.

3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with front and/or back-end ASIC/SoC design

Understanding of modern EDA tools, IP, and flows

Understanding of Generative AI technologies, integration methods, and dataset strategies

Ability to define, modify, and extend automation through scripting and programming

Ability to work well with and articulate ideas and concepts to non-experts

Familiarity with distributed systems at scale

Ability to work well in a matrixed environment and with ambiguity

Hands-on use of development tools for AI models and their lifecycle

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
