Private Elderly Companion / Caregiver Needed – Winchester, VA

We are looking to hire a reliable, compassionate individual to assist with elderly companion care for a family member in Winchester, VA. This is a private, non-medical position — primarily providing company, light supervision, and general assistance during the day.

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Winchester, VA (private home)

Pay: $18-$20/hour depending on experience

Start Date: flexible

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and conversation

Light meal prep and light housekeeping (basic tidying up, laundry, etc.)

Assist with light mobility support if needed

Occasional reminders for medications and appointments

Ensure safety and well-being throughout the day

Requirements:

Prior experience with elder care or similar work preferred

Reliable transportation

Patience, compassion, and trustworthiness are essential

Ability to pass background check

Non-smoker

Bonus if you have:

CNA or HHA experience (not required)

Prior experience with seniors or individuals with mild cognitive/mobility challenges
