The Procurement Associate will handle the important administrative compliance functions of Data Entry, Database Management, Electronic Email-box Management, and Federal, State & Local Reporting Requirements in various AIR and government systems. This position reports to the Senior Purchasing Manager.You will work with a diverse team and have opportunities to pursue mutual, long-term career development goals. Large Volume Support-

Handle large volumes of procurement-related tasks efficiently and accurately.

Prioritize workload to meet established timelines and maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

Monitor and manage procurement-related emails and incoming New Supplier forms.

Federal, State & Local Reporting Requirements-

Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local procurement reporting requirements for Purchase Order/Subcontract Closeout assistance.

Ensure files and policy documents are complete and up to date-

Regularly review procurement files and policy documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Collaborate with relevant teams to gather any missing or updated information.

Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as institutional needs and external markets evolve.

QualificationsEd ucation, Knowledge, and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in procurement, data entry, and administrative compliance functions.

Skills:

Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to communicate well in a virtual, and cross-functional diverse team environment.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as a collaborative team member.

Proven organizational, critical thinking, and adept problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Skilled at prioritizing multiple objectives and projects in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting established timelines.

Proactive professional who provides exceptional customer service and follows through on commitments and tasks.

Exhibit sound judgment, knowing when to escalate matters appropriately.

Proficient in using standard MS Office suite.

This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $70,000 to $80,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets.
