About the Opportunity

The National Procurement Office (NPO) has an immediate opening for a Shared Services Analyst. In the role, you will work with a team of Analysts who specialize in performing RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, releasing POs and facilitating activities in support of Category Managers within the NPO. The Shared Services Analyst reports to the Procurement Shared Services Manager.

What You Will Do:
  • Manage intake process for all NPO Strategic Sourcing activities and assigns to appropriate Sourcing Specialists to engage on sourcing support
  • Work with Sourcing Specialists to support sourcing activities within Ariba, including the tool's facilitation of RFPs, RFIs, PR facilitation and PO/Invoice processing and reconciliations
  • Support Ariba administration and end user engagement activities for NPO such as serving as the SMEs for category specific training and POC for transactional questions
  • Partner with the NPO Application Support team based on guidance provided as necessary
  • Utilize advanced analytical skills to showcase data where there may be opportunities for process improvements, making a process more efficient or data clean-up activities
  • Perform renewal activities with guidance from the Strategic Sourcing Specialist
  • Maintain SLAs, in support of established procurement lifecycle goals and deadlines
  • Serve as a continuous ambassador for the System Procurement Strategic Plan
  • Lead projects and status meetings that will better assist category teams and collaborate within Shared Services to cross train and manage workflow that needs action
  • Provide clear guidance and effective communication methods to business and procurement department
  • Understand voice of the customer and measure feedback and their expectations

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Outstanding attention to detail and analytical skills. Experienced with tools such as PowerBI and PowerApps is a plus
  • Ability to create or tell a story in a professional presentation or summary is a plus
  • Keep current on related industry knowledge and best practices
  • Ability to operate in the gray or with ambiguity if all answers are not provided up front
  • Understanding of the procurement lifecycle, with focus on leveraging P2P tools for RFP, RFQ, and RFI activities to reduce cycle time and improve processes
  • Understanding of the Ariba platform
